Tassie Holiday Voucher ballot registrations now open

Travellers in South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland can now register for a Tassie Holiday Voucher.

There are up to 10,000 vouchers worth $300 up for grabs distributed to travelers through a random ballot process, providing $200 towards accommodation and $100 towards tours or attractions.

To enter the ballot, participants must be aged 18 and over and a resident of South Australia, Western Australia, or Queensland.

Tourism Tasmania CEO John Fitzgerald said this is a great opportunity to sneak in a pre-Christmas visit. “We’re excited to be offering travellers the chance to experience Tasmania’s world-class tourism industry.

“Visitors can take full advantage of new direct flights with Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane so there is more time on the ground to enjoy all that Tassie has to offer.” Mr Fitzgerald said.

“An incredible selection of Tasmanian tourism businesses have registered to be part of the voucher program, providing voucher recipients with an amazing range of accommodation and activities to choose from right across Tasmania,” Mr Fitzgerald said.

The voucher program is focused on states with direct flight links with Tasmania and where Tourism Tasmania is currently active in market with its Come Down for Air campaign.

Applications for the Tassie Holiday Voucher program can be made online at any time between 9:00 am, Friday 29 October and 5:00 pm, Tuesday 2 November (AEDT). Successful ballot recipients will be notified by SMS and email on 3 November 2021 with their voucher code.

Vouchers can be used seven days a week on eligible accommodation, tours and attractions between 4 November and 31 December 2021. Bookings must be made via the Tassie Holiday Voucher online marketplace between 3 to 17 November 2021.

The Tassie Holiday Voucher program is funded through the Australian Government’s Recovery for Regional Tourism initiative and delivered through Tourism Tasmania.
