Meatstock Toowoomba Is Locked In for April 2026

It’s official. Meatstock Toowoomba is coming back.

After a forced cancellation earlier this year, one of Australia’s biggest food and music weekends is locked in for Friday 10 and Saturday 11 April 2026, and tickets are already on sale.

For two days, the Toowoomba Showgrounds will once again turn into a full-scale celebration of barbecue, live music and controlled chaos. Smoke drifting across the grounds. Live bands rolling from afternoon into night. Fires burning, crowds building and plates stacked high.

Meatstock isn’t a festival you drop into casually. It’s a weekend you plan around.

Barbecue sits at the heart of it all. Serious pitmasters. Long cooks. Big flavours. Competitions that draw crowds early and keep them there. Around that, the festival energy does what it does best. Loud music, cold drinks, packed crowds and a constant sense that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

The live music line-up will run across both days, bringing local favourites and international acts to the Jack Daniel’s Live Stage. Between sets, the action doesn’t slow. BBQ battles, butcher competitions, bull riding, sideshow chaos and more reasons than necessary to stay longer than planned.

For those making a weekend of it, camping is available on site for caravans, RVs and tents, with plenty of nearby accommodation options around Toowoomba. As the sun goes down, the festival ramps up, finishing each night with fire shows and fireworks that light up the grounds.

Meatstock Toowoomba has built its reputation on big crowds, big flavour and an atmosphere that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. The 2026 return marks a major moment for the event and for the region.

If you’ve been before, you already know.

If you haven’t, this is the year to fix that.
