Today we explored this hidden gem. Gardners Falls at Maleny in the Queensland Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Getting here is super easy! Drive to the car park on the banks of the Obi Obi Creek – a short level walk downstream to the falls. Gardners Falls is a popular picnic spot with a large pool at the base of the falls.
There is something truly magical about freshwater swimming. The cool water is refreshing, the surroundings are peaceful and somehow the whole experience is more special and secluded than your average dip in the ocean.
Freshwater swimming spots are like hidden treasures. Gardener’s Falls at Maleny is like a little jewel in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, just waiting to be discovered from above!
