There’s a new reason to roar with excitement in the Blue Mountains. Scenic World’s Dinosaur Valley has returned for a new season – and this time, the prehistoric adventure dives beneath the surface with its biggest addition yet: the Dino Aquarium.
A Prehistoric First
Exclusive to Scenic World, the Dino Aquarium invites visitors to step into an ancient underwater world where colossal marine reptiles once ruled the seas. Think Kronosaurus, Plesiosaurus and other ancient predators, all brought to life in an immersive, family-friendly experience that blends education with pure awe.

This year’s Dinosaur Valley season is packed with fresh discoveries:

The Dino Aquarium: A world-first experience for Scenic World, offering a look into the prehistoric ocean.

The Dinosaur Valley Passport: Kids can become certified Junior Rangers as they “travel” the world discovering which dinosaurs ruled each continent.

Even More Dinosaurs: Over 60 dinosaurs across 33 species now roam the valley – from T-Rex and Spinosaurus to Stegosaurus and Velociraptors.
Old Favourites Return
Crowd favourites are back too. Andy Day, the ultimate Dino Fan, returns with fun facts and videos scattered throughout the trail, while the Dino Rangers (and their adorable hatchlings) are ready for meet-and-greets. Don’t forget to grab a Junior Ranger Kit to take the adventure home, then refuel with dino-sized bites at the Dino Diner.
The Scenic World Experience
Of course, the prehistoric fun doesn’t stop at the dinosaurs. Every ticket to Dinosaur Valley includes access to Scenic World’s world-famous attractions – the Scenic Railway, Skyway, and Cableway – each offering a different perspective of the stunning Blue Mountains landscape.
